About Us

Founded in 1975 the architectural practice of Rathbone Taylor amalgamated with Marson Architects to form Marson Rathbone Taylor LLP Chartered Architects to bring together the resources of two practices.

Since then the practice has undertaken all types of building projects from sports stadia, commercial buildings, schools and university projects and a broad range of domestic projects large and small. Our website pages show the different areas we work in and some examples of our work to date.

We have a good team of architects technicians, landscape and interior designers who are able to bring different expertise to a project including 3D computer modelling of a proposal, hard and soft landscaping schemes, interior design and all drawing work required to obtain planning permission, building regulation and management on site.

The practice has two partners:

Simon Marson RIBA specialises in contemporary design and particularly in the field of housing, offices, stadia and a broad gamut of building types, particularly in sensitive and historic settings

David Taylor RIBA has extensive knowledge of a wide range of building projects including ecclesiastical buildings, health facilities, university and other educational buildings
