Replacement Dwelling, Long Compton
The essence of the proposal is to create a traditional but contemporary barn historically inspired from Cotswold vernacular architecture as seen throughout the surrounding countryside. The principle part of the design is a long barn with a lower attached wing in Cotswold stone which faces east over the escarpment and the village of Long Compton though a considerable distance away and screened by natural vegetation.
The proposals have the benefit of detailed Planning Permission in this area of outstanding natural beauty.
