The design of the replacement dwelling is rooted in the Cotswold vernacular past and is drawn from examples of architecture from the local and wider context. The multi-gabled elevations are simple in style with steep pitches and parapets to the verges for the main part of the house. The stone barns are retained and connected to the new house via frameless glass links and modified to provide ancillary domestic/leisure space to be used as part of main dwelling.
The proposals have the benefit of detailed Planning Permission in this area of outstanding natural beauty.
