The proposal added an additional seven bedrooms and conference suite on the flat roof areas behind a new mansard roof with dormers. Two parts of the bedroom wings were not connected and there was no lift for disabled access. This proposal interconnected the building and unified the circulation routes all benefiting from the lift. The Cotswold coloured rendered elevations and plain tile roof blend with the old and recent extensions to provide a harmonious composition. Extensive landscaping around and adjacent to the hotel has also improved setting in of the village of Mickleton.
