A new two storey extension at the front was to provide a proper entrance, stone doorcase and beyond a two storey height hall with a gallery and study providing an excellent first impression. This feature projects forward to the existing garage to balance up the elevation with a multi-gabled facade in the Cotswold style. It is hoped that first impressions of the house will be seen from the first gateway into the drive and set the look of the house with an impressive new gabled entrance.
