This project replaced a nondescript house with a new contemporary house. The design was based on the traditional architecture of this Warwickshire village, but with modern twists. The composition is essentially two gables with a part two storey pavilion connecting the wings - within this central space is an atrium with skylight and a stairway with glazed balconies overlooking a dining hall.
